Marine Corps Pacific Commander visits Japan
Feb 22 - U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific Commander Lieutenant General Keith J. Stalder visited Japan Feb. 12-20 for a series of consultations with the Japanese government. The general also spoke at the Tokyo American Center, where he referred to the U.S.-Japan alliance as "the cornerstone of East Asia security," noting that "Japan's and the United States' commitment to maintaining peace and security in Asia has led to 50 years of miraculous economic, social, and political growth."
