March 13, 2009 Fukuoka - The 28th West Japan Total Living Show was held March 13 through 15 at the West Japan General Exhibition Hall in Kitakyushu city. Principal Officer Margot Carrington participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the opening.

A wide range of building products as well as home furnishings were exhibited by 120 companies at the show. The Consulate organized the American booth, where kitchen disposers, exterior wall plasters and paints imported from the U.S. were featured. Many of the 15,000 visitors to the show over the three day period visited the American booth and expressed interest in these high quality U.S. products.
