Women and Politics in America

Fukuoka - Dr. Mala Htun, Council on Foreign Relations and Hitachi Fellow, University of Tokyo and Associate Professor of Political Science, New School for Social Research (New York), visited the University of Fukuoka Law School and the Avanti, a Fukuoka professional women's organization and gave two lectures on "Women and Politics in America - Will Hillary Clinton Become America's First Female President?" and on "Social Policy, Women's Leadership, and Equal Opportunities in America". She also discussed current labor law and women's gender issues with an advanced seminar class at the University of Fukuoka Law School.
