Georgetown Professor McNamara Speaks on Economic Networking at KERC

Fukuoka - Georgetown University Professor Dennis McNamara spoke at the Kyushu Economic Research Center about production networks and increasing economic interdependence in Asia to senior representatives from government, business and the media. The Fulbright-Hays scholar, who
currently teaches in Tokyo, said that Japanese companies could improve their knowledge of consumer, lab or, and financial markets and of government policies in other East Asian countries where they establish offshore production facilities. Dr. McNamara explained that improvement in
knowledge flow is also important for creating regional communities in East Asia.
