USFJ Commanding General Wright Visits Fukuoka

Fukuoka - U.S. Forces Japan Commander Lieutenant General Bruce A. Wright spoke to the Fukuoka Prefecture Legislature, senior Japan Self Defense Force officers, and top Kyushu business officials during a visit to Fukuoka. General Wright, attending the Prefecture Legislature Defense Association's 20th anniversary meeting, thanked the group for their support on the local level of the Japan-U.S. Alliance during his 90-minute speech. The legislators used the speech's question and answer session to explore the range of the United States commitment to defend Japan in light of developments on the Korean peninsula.
