U.S. Navy Base Tour by Fukuoka American Business Club members

Sasebo - Twenty-five members of the Fukuoka American Business Club (FABC) participated on Dec. 1, in an orientation tour of the U.S. Naval fleet at the U.S. navy base in Sasebo. The tour, which included a boat tour of the waterfront, an American steak lunch, commander briefing, bus tour, as well as remarks by base commander, Captain Tillman Payne, was the first time the members had been on a U.S. military base.The FABC was able to see firsthand the economic impact of the base and potential business opportunities for the future.
