Fukuoka - The Consulate and friends celebrated America's Independence Day. A color guard from the Marine Corps Air Station at Iwakuni opened the celebration with the presentation of the Japanese and American flags and anthems. Fukuoka Governor Aso offered a toast to the US-Japan relationship and Principal Officer Joyce S. Wong thanked the group for the warm support for American activities in Kyushu.
