TAF Senior Associate Discusses Diplomatic Strategies with North Korea

Fukuoka - Scott Snyder, Senior Associate of The Asia Foundation spoke on "Diplomatic Strategies with North Korea" with leaders from the media, academia, government, Self Defense Forces and business at the Fukuoka American Center. After outlining the background and stalemate in the Six Party Talks, the speaker examined diplomatic strategies deployed by the six parties, and diplomatic challenges for the US to break the current impasse in the multi-national talks over DPRK's suspected nuclear development. He concluded with a discussion with the audience.
