Public Affairs Officer Speaks to Fukuoka University Law Class

Fukuoka - John Dyson addressed a Fukuoka University Faculty of Law class on current US-Japan relations and on diplomacy as a career. Mr. Dyson explained the USG position on Japan's beef import ban and why Americans are convinced that US beef is safe, how students can contribute to educational exchanges by welcoming foreign students and taking responsibility for getting to know Americans if they have an opportunity to study in America, the contributions immigrant laborers have made to the fabric of America, and things to consider if pondering diplomacy as a career.
