John Dyson Discusses Beef, Regional Security with Japan-America Society

Kumamoto - Consulate Public Affairs Officer spoke to members and guests of the Kumamoto Japan-America Society. He discussed the reasons why American beef is safe and encouraged the audience to work toward a reopening of the Japanese market. He thanked Kumamoto for its strong support for the Japan-US Security Agreement and for support to members of the American military during the joint Japan-US exercises held earlier in January. He also spoke from personal experience to explain why he thought that the bilateral relationship would continue to be in good shape for the foreseeable future.
