Kyushu Businessmen Sample the Latest in U.S. "Anti-Aging Medicine"

Las Vegas - Several Kyushu businessmen, accompanied by Consulate Fukuoka's Commercial Specialist Yoshihiro Yamamoto, attended the 8th International Congress on Anti-Aging Medicine 2005, held December 9-12 in Las Vegas. They were part of a larger group of approximately 30 businessmen from throughout Japan who participated in the event under the U.S. Dept. of Commerce International Buyers Program (IBP). The Congress featured seminars and displays on U.S. products ranging from health food supplements to hospital equipment for elderly patient care. Participants also visited eldercare medical facilities in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Similar "anti-aging medicine" trade shows are planned in Orlando, Florida (April 2006) and Tokyo (June 2006).
