for six months beyond your intended date of entry into the U.S. An
immigrant visa is issued in exactly the same name which appears in the
applicant's passport. If you wish to apply for a new passport or to have
your name changed in your current passport you should contact the
nearest Japanese passport office (Japanese citizen), or your embassy
(third country nationals).
