Replacing a Lost/Stolen Passport

If your passport is lost or stolen, you are advised to report the loss/theft to the local Japanese Police Station and obtain a police report or a report number for presentation to the Consular Officer at time of application.

Passports for Children:

As of February 1, 2008, the two-parent consent requirement for all minors' passport services was extended to include all children under age 16. Both parents are required to be present to provide signatures at the time of application. For more information please see here.
