Adding Extra Pages to a Passport
If your passport's visa pages are becoming full, but your passport is still valid and in good condition, you may apply for additional pages at the appropriate Consular office in your district or by mail.
By mail
Please send:
- Valid passport
- Completed form DS-4085
- One self-addressed LetterPack 500 envelope (for persons using APO/FPO address, one self-addressed envelope)
- Please send you application to the Consular office in your district.
- Postal money order

In person
- By appointment only (check the Consular office in your district )
- Submit valid passport
- Complete form DS-4085
- Bring one self-addressed LetterPack 500 envelope (for persons using APO/FPO address, one self-addressed envelope)
- Please note that adding pages may take up to a week including mailing time.

We can only add two sets of pages; after that, you will need to replace the passport even if it has not already expired.
We cannot add additional pages to a limited validity passport.
If applying for children under 16, a parent should sign the application form on behalf of the child. The personal appearance of the minor and the two-parent consent are not required.
